Micholandia plans East Austin dessert shop

Micholandia is working on a new East Austin location at 2115 Riverview Street, inside Northwend Shopping Center. The Mexican dessert concept lists paletas, mangonadas, ice cream, aguas frescas, fruit cups, and other snacks among its offerings.

The project calls for an 1,800 square foot interior finish out and is aiming for an early August opening, pending permits. The shop would be run by a licensed owner as the brand continues using a licensing model rather than a traditional franchise system.
