KUT opens summer reading bingo through Aug. 26

KUT's summer reading bingo asks Austinites to complete book prompts by Aug. 26. Prizes include Field Guide items, Lick ice cream and raffle entries for readers who finish more of the card.

Anyone can join the reading challenge, which runs through Aug. 26. Participants can print a bingo card or pick one up at KUT summer events and the front desk at KUT Public Media Studios, then mark one square for each book they read.

One bingo earns a Field Guide to Austin bookmark and sticker. Two bingos add a voucher for a scoop of Lick ice cream, while a completed card enters readers into raffles that include tickets to an ATXplained live show. KUT also plans staff recommendations, a July book swap and an end of August gathering for prize pickup.
